Then you should attend the Growth Spurts Reading Series on Wednesday, November 2nd (which, as I type this, is tomorrow) at the Happy Ending Bar, which is located down there on that end of Manhattan I never visit. (Specifically, 302 Broome St., @ Forsyth)

I'll be reading from Looking for Alaska--and possibly, if I'm feeling gutsy, An Abundance of Katherines. Judy Goldschmidt will be reading from her novel, The Secret Blog of Raisin Rodriguez. The Series is hosted by author Will Leitch, whose book Catch will be published in, like, January, I think.

Doors open at 7, reading starts at 8. You can come if you're under 21; you just can't drink. Hope to see you there.
