Peeps for Bangladesh (continued)
Okay, so this Sunday, I'm going to have to eat 102 peeps (per earlier agreement with the nerdfighters). I would have to eat more than 300, but several nerdfighters came to my rescue and agreed to eat some Peeps on my behalf.
This means that nerdfighteria raised more than 3,000 dollars in a week to help Shawn Ahmed do cool work in Bangladesh. The money nerdfighters gave during the Great American Tour de Nerdfighting has already changed lives through a newly built pond sand filter now serving a village in rural Bangladesh.

For the first time in decades, clean water for the village:
Many thanks to Shawn and Save the Children and all those involved in the construction for getting it done (on time and under budget!).

That's so cool! I hope you don't explode from peeps, because that would be a very colorful and disgusting death.
We just did a benefit dinner at my school for water filters to give to Haiti. Yayy for water causes made of awesome!
Awesome! The directness and realness of everything is so cool.
Please stop eating peeps when you start throwing up, we don't want you to die. I'm pretty sure you can't eat 850 grams of peeps. (At least 720 grams of that is pure sugar.)
Don't kill yourself... :)
Maybe do something like Hank in B2.0? (Give away the remaining peeps and donate the number of peeps you didn't eat to a charity)
And yet I'm looking forward to it :D
I must agree with what Tom said. Please, don't eat until you get sick. If you must, go into town and try to give them away and make a video of it. Or if you're really going to attempt this, wake up at like 4:00 in the morning and eat about 7 1/4 peeps every half hour and eat some very nutritious meals in between.
If I would have seen whitefluffyhat's video I would have attempted eating, like, 20 of them. I will if it's not too late, lol.
but what are peeps?
This reminds me of a project here in Brazil. The northeast of the country is very dry and poor households who live there have no access to water (they had to walk miles to carry home a dirty water). Some NGOs and common people began to help and build cisterns to collect the rainwater. That was when the government decided to build these cisterns ... and they have built thousands!
Congratulations to Shawn, I hope everything goes well.
Oh! And be careful with the peeps, John!
Hmm sorry for my bad english and for the long post lol
If John counts the extra Peeps that have been eaten since he posted this he might only have to eat twenty or so...I think.
Yay for not-exploding Johns?
Hey John, are you eating the 102 peeps live? If so, what times does the torture being?
How did the Peep feast go? Personally, I'm a a Peep fanatic, but 300 sounds like it's enough to choke a horse (not in the literal sense, though). What color were they? Don't question; I just have to know. XD Hooray for $3,000 dollars a week!!! Good job you guys! Viva la nerdfighteria!!!!!!!

P.S. I'm a huge fan of Paper Towns (my friend Nerdette Blinda is, too) and the Vlogbrothers' Youtube Channel! Did I mention I'm a fan of Peeps?

Hey John, I found out on Amazon today that you make coloring books about horse anatomy! (I can't decide whether this is nerdfighter-ly or just plain weird.)

How about some balance, it's great to see a pond sand filter being built but what about the other side of the story?
How peeps are made!

(sorry if this is an old article/link)
Are you going to be participating in BEDA?
That's so cool!
Nerdfighters are totally winning the battle against world suck!
DFTBA!
