Terry McAuliffe on The Daily Show
Did that just happen? Did anyone else just see that? Oh, my God. (I will embed the video when it becomes available.)
I mean, Mark Penn is one of the great political con men of our generation (which is really saying something), but Terry McAuliffe just went onto the Daily Show to say, "Hey, everybody. Just so you know, I am also terrifying. It's not just Penn! I might be less evil, but I'm much more crazy! Furthermore, I don't have a sense of humor!"

You are absolutely brilliant.
Try and come to Kansas.
I'm begging you.
I saw it too. He's so clearly the guy who you avoid at parties because he won't stop driving his point home about whatever crazy megalomaniac idea he's fixated on, and he's like a brick wall; there is absolutely no human access to him.
You know, I was all about Hil there for awhile. I had a bumper sticker and everything. But IT IS OVER, DAMMIT! Now it's all about her ego, and that's just gross. In other news, Terry McAuliffe scares me like whoa.
It was real??!! I thought that was Terry McAuliffe satirizing Terry McAuliffe.
Thank you for your clarification, you may get some votes here after all.
Is it possible that Hank's vote sent Barack over the top? Amazing!
He is bughouse shitstorm crazy, the kind that makes you laugh at first but then just takes a turn for uncomfortable and weird.
A candidate is only as good as the people they surround themselves with.
But you know, there's some wisdom in her not conceding publicly before the convention because it forces the Republicans to waste their efforts trying to second guess what the Dems are going to do. The Clinton's are smart folks, and if they seal the deal in secret now but play it of for the next couple of months, strategize behind the scenes and let the Republicans stew over trying to figure out what's going on, leave it as "up in the air" then they'll have the energy to come back and kick GOP ass in the election.
Think like a drunken master.
Oh man, I missed that. Thanks for posting it!
Haha, oh my.
Well, that was fun.
I was sort of rooting for you for a while, Clinton. Yes, I was...but then things got silly and a bit racist, err. You're losing, give up.
I've never been against Obama getting the nomination, so I won't be disappointed.
I'm just watching this on More4 here in Ireland. The man is fracking nuts!
So enough about politics, let’s get back to SATC. I’m a fan of your work, but this bit just pissed me off. Say you don’t like the premise, the actors, the location – anything but the writing. You didn’t even see the movie, how can you comment on the writing? And, even if you had, shouldn’t writers NOT slam one another? Seems very counter to your Nerdfighting stance and frankly, that kind of attitude brings more suck to the world. I’m disappointed.
It's pretty simple: he's Hilary's man. She didn't concede (trying to leverage power) so if Terry conceded, it would be treason. I think in this clip he definitely knew it was over, he was just playing the joker cause he had to, and to Jon's enjoyment.
He was pretty hilarious taking shots on Morning Joe, still not admiting defeat, but hinting at it :)
OBAMA 08!

Saw it. Laughed my ass off at how completely single-minded McAuliffe was (which is the most polite word I can come up with for him - the rest were more along the lines of "jackass").
was that mcauliffe or the iraqi information minister?
Thank you so much for sharing that with us...
I laughed so hard, and yet it's scary, because it's real.
I did see it - Looked like political suicide to me.
I hate it that I can't keep my eyes peeled off this train wreck.
Holy psycho killer on the run. McAuliffe is nuts. I'd say he was in total Comedy Central mode, playing up the fake news angle for the Stewart-Colbert audience but... I've seen McAuliffe too many times to know his acting skills are only second to Hillary's performance skills.
I need a drink after this clip. Kool Aid, anyone?
Wow. Hysterical!
