:O I'm going to break my mind trying to decide which one to buy. I'll just have to get both. XD

you're probably one of my favorite authors, john green. i mean, yeah, jk rowling is high up there. but, i don't talk to her. i don't see her on a weekly basis. the connection you have with your readers is very comforting. your books work wonders, i'm not even kidding. i keep track of how many people i've recommended Looking For Alaska to and it's been five so far. i can't even do that to my friends with Harry Potter. i know that i'm the reason my local borders needs to keep reordering Alaska. anyway, my point is, i wish more authors were like you. you are inspiring to many people, including me, and your effort to interact with your fans (like, advance copies, ftw) makes you my hero.

Nerdfighters. Yay. I want Paper Towns to be out...well, prefferably now. I have a love/hate relationship with double covers. It makes me want both, which is kinda silly since it's the same book, but still. *Sigh*

Tell the Yeti to get better.

Can we have the same odds over here?

I mean 5:1 vs. 300:1 over on nerdfighters...

Since you still owe me an interview, I think I deserve at least an ARC. =D

Feel better, Yeti.

I agree with seaheidi. I like the odds here.

Boys Blogging Books would love to get an ARC to review Papertowns.

Kurtis is anxiously waiting to find out about using Looking For Alaska for a band name. =)

I told him you were a very busy fellow with probably a bazillion emails to answer. Patience is not a virtue widely understood. At least not at 15. =)

John this is going to drive me bonkers. An ARC copy would be the prize piece in my library (even more so when I get you to sign my copies of all your books (Maybe?)).

I hope ye Yeti is sick and I'm still gonna buy both covers either way.

John

I procrastinate every day from my homework to watch brotherhood 2.0 videos. Which is funny considering I am in my last two weeks of college EVER. You two crack me up - and I can not wait to buy a copy of your book. I agree with others when I say, I almost want both books - so I can have both covers. To be honest, I probably will buy both books, for that exact reason. Except - the book in your hand displays both, front and back, so that could be awesome.

Thank You for Making my Day - Every day!

Molly :)

Also, I just read and reviewed Katherines for my Teaching Reading class - showing my classmates how awesome it is and how to teach it, as well as your other books, in our future High School classrooms :)

Thanks, goading the pen! You should totally let Kurtis use the title for a band name. That would be awesome.

Grrrrr! Why can't you count us here? Aren't your intense blog followers more important?! ;)

I'd like to inquire about a few things, too. Maybe via email or something a bit more reliable than blogspot?

I'm sure you and the Yeti watched the Office last night... team Pam for the win! YES! (This is, of course, unless the writers decide to do something really mean, like ... break them up before he can ask or ... make her say no.)

Hi there. I just happened upon your blog looking for info about your upcoming book. Imagine my surprise to learn you might draw my name from a hat (cowboy, pith, baseball - who knows) and I could be the lucky recipient of an uncorrected ARC of your newest book! Very exciting! I hope I'm not too late.

Your blogs are great fun. The "ography" comments about the challenge to Alaska really had me laughing! I'd love to receive an advance copy of Paper Towns. It would help make me one of the coolest HS librarians around, and would keep one of your oldest fans happy. And I mean oldest in a couple of ways! Seriously, I saw you speak at AASL in Pittsburgh in October 2005 where you signed my copy of Alaska. Loads of my students have enjoyed your book and I know they'll think it's amazing to see the advanced readers copy. Thanks!

i just realized(if in fact you are going to send me a copy) that it is highly unlikely that you should have my adress handy, so email me if you can and we'll work somthing out. and even if you don't send me one, you will still be one of my favorite authors!

Heyy I just watched your Amazon thingy.

I'm sooo stoked to read Paper Towns! I just requested to borrow the book from the library.
I just wanted to say that you are my favorite authors and I hope that you never pull a "j.d. salinger" and go into isolation. Oh, and i loveeee looking for alaska.

Please keep writing more books!

So, I honestly, seven minutes ago, just finished Paper Towns.

When I saw my school library had a new John Green book I RAN to get it. Along with The Freedom Writers Diary. Anyway, I just wanted to say thankyou for writing such an addicting book. I've yet to read An Abundance of Katherines, but Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns are officially my top two favorite books, the third being The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I own Looking for Alaska, and you can bet I'll be buying both versions of Paper Towns.

Thanks agin, John (:

I'm really upset at the moment. I'd been saving up to buy Paper Towns on Amazon, and then my boyfriend decided to get it for me. Thats great, but now I don't have either of the (what I assume to be) American covers, I've got the Australian cover (which is black and has a different girl on the cover - she has a road map tattoo on her arm). So now I'm sad. I wanted the Blue Version.

I've read the book three times in the last week and just wanted to say its fantastic. You seem to really like writing strong female characters. I'm assuming that "The Yeti" (which, by the way, is a terrible nickname for your wife and the love of your life) is a strong woman.

Anyway, your books are fantastic and I'm a little bit in love with your brain. Alaska got me through my boyfriends Stepdad's suicide and changed my life forever. Tahnk you, if you find and read this.
