*rolls eyes*
Wow.
I actually laughed out loud while watching it, though, because the whole time they're talking the little ticker at the bottom is saying "Fox News: Fair and Balanced". :D

Did you read Maureen Dowd today? She quotes a political observer as saying that Michelle is a "target-rich environment." And it's true that McCain & Co. are going to have be very careful, because I really don't think it would take much for any attacks on Michelle to backfire in a major way.

Think of Fox the way you'd think of STAR magazine...is that where you get your news?

It's just propaganda nonsense.

makes you wonder how stuff like this http://bagnewsnotes.typepad.com/bagnews/2008/06/mccharacter.html is falling under the radar. well not really "how" as much as "why."

Oh, no, John. Fox News isn't calling Michelle a "Baby Mama," it is the "outraged liberals." Lol. Crazy kids.

And I think that anything the conservatives do on that front will backfire. They won't stop at what she's saying on the campaign trail. One time on the news they brought up her college thesis!

My grandmother told me that she feared Obama being president because he had "too much baggage." When I asked her what she meant, she told me that he has a bunch of Marxist friends and that he would take away all of our rights. I decided not to tell her that I voted for him in the primaries :)

I'm always surprised when people say Obama is going to take away our rights. I'm a hard core libertarian, so obviously that's an important issue for me. Our rights have already been slaughtered by Bush and the Supreme Court he has created. I don't even know what those people are talking about.

Wow.
That's ridiculous.
Who thought that was a good idea?

Did they check the connotation that goes with that phrase at all?

Wait..it's fox, yes..yes they did.

Wow. I cannot wait to see what The Daily Show and/or Colbert Report say about this.

Also, id you see when they called he and his wife's fist bump a "terrorist fist jab"? Haha!

And when David Brooks said, "Obama's problem is he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would fit in at an Applebees salad bar." Applebees do not have salad bars.

Maybe it was "rhyming headline day" at Fox. Actually, I don't know if this is better or worse than one columnist who kept calling Mitt Romney "Big Love". Stupidity comes in all political leanings.

Wouldn't it be a beautiful word if politicians only went after each other's politics? Instead of attacking Obama's wife, they should be going after his political beliefs. But, oh wait, they can't do that without exposing their own twisted and hypocritical beliefs. I dream of a world where we judge our politicians based on what their political beliefs are, and whether or not their voting record agrees with what they say their beliefs are. But, alas, America apparently bases its judgement on who they'd most want to have a beer with. Or whether or not the candidate has kenkles. Or if, heaven forbid, the candidate challenges the status quo and brings up new ideas. Or, if they fit in at a hypothetical salad bar. I'm not entirely sure I'd want to have a beer with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, or JFK (ok, maybe JFK). But they were some of our greatest presidents. Alas, our country is headed for destruction, with little hope of changing. Ugh.

I just can believe how biased the news is over there. What America needs is a decent public service broadcaster like the BBC. Now there's a news service you can trust. Impartial, unbiased and professional. With no bullsh*t lowest common denominator b*llocks that all the US news channels seem to spout. I'm Irish and I still prefer the BBC. They're just so good at it.

I could've sworn she actually introduced Obama at a rally or some other political event calling him her "baby's daddy". So. Who started it?
