On the Brokenness of My Blog
You may notice that for the moment, the layout of the blog has changed. You also may notice that it has changed for the worse. This is because someone or something has destroyed large swaths of my site. (In my mind, it was an oversized sentient locust. It also may have been hackers. But if it was hackers, I have an important question: Out of all of the web sites on all of the Internet, why would you hack mine? No one even visits here. They are too busy watching Brotherhood 2.0 and discussing how much cuter Hank is.
Anyway, at some point, my hard-working webmaster and I will get together and talk about how to fix the site, but it is a little challenging when you are not allowed to textually communicate with your webmaster.
Oh, and also: The movie rights for "An Abundance of Katherines" have been optioned by the production company East of Doheny:
Now if we can just get this strike to end. Also, thanks to all the Nerdfighters who helped make the above video the top rated comedy video on youtube yesterday (and also the third most discussed).

I don't know what's wrong with your site, sorry. I don't think it was hacked, but who knows. And aww, not everybody thinks Hank is cuter.
okay, i bookmarked this new one. good thing it comes syndicated on my lj or i wouldn't have seen it. shame on hackers for messing with your site! that's horrible. grrrr...but congrats again on the movie deal!

Good news about Katherines. If the strike stretches on, perhaps you and Hank can just read from the book, acting out all the roles and then post the full-length feature on YouTube.
I was really distressed about your blog being broken. So, maybe it was my fault the hackers (if it was hackers) chose this page. Maybe they're getting revenge on me.
Or maybe not.

Hank's not cuter! Although I do prefer taller men... And I do check here quite often, but you usually don't update and if you do it involves a B2.0 episode. Anyway, I'm glad that the site is fixed, or rather, replaced, but my rejoicing must be cut short becuase I have to look up locomotion in water for my AP Bio class :)

I try to check here every so often, but as someone else said, you don't update here as much (one blog/vlog is enough work I'm sure let alone two).
I'm curious why a hacker would only mess with certain pages of your site... why not the whole thing? (not that I would want them to hack the WHOLE site but really, it would make more sense).

Yes! Movie!! I'm in Power of the Pen, that's this writing competition. We put the names of our favorite characters on the back of our shirts. I'm really liking "Alaska Young." Except I might actually sound like a real person.

Hi, I'm from Montréal, Canada and I read your book : Qui es-tu Alaska? (in French). I really like it. But An Abundance Of Katherines is not avaible in French. So.. I did'nt read it. Congradulations for the movie, it's good news for you!

Hey John, I'm actually based on the Philippines, and just the other day, just for the sake of trying (since it's rather unlikely from where I am), I went to a local bookstore to check if they had your book.
And they did, except it was out of stock. Rats. ^__^;
