The Brotherhood in Publishers Weekly
Brotherhood 2.0 has received its first print press. Fortunately, it is also web press, so you can read it for free. Check out this Publishers Weekly article. The written blog is indeed "very 2006."
Also, my awesome publisher is having a contest called "Plug into Penguin." You can win copies of Alaska and stuff.
Furthermore, you can check out the Looking for Alaska playlist I made. And this Q & A (I liked the questions. Most of them are meme-able, although a few are specific to me.)

Taking another break...this time from writing the script for my new pee-wee drama play where three ladybugs solve the 'mystery' of why their caterpillar friends have suddenly disappeared--it's very scooby-dooesque. What a fabulous idea for the playlist! I actually made a CD soundtrack for SEA and gave it to people as xmas gifts. A shameless self-promoter, I know...but such fun. Back to those caterpillars...
Wilco, Magnetic Fields, and They Might Be Giants?
Whoo-hoo!

P.S. Brotherhood 2.0 should talk about music more often.
Hopefully I'll win that copy of LFA!! (Even though I already have one. This way I could give it to a friend who I REALLY think should read it. :) )
Oh my gosh, ryan adams. you've made my day. haha. and uncle tupelo and old crow medicine show. best playlist ever? maybe.
That's so cool man.
thanks so much for posting a link to that article. i found it quite informative, particularly meg cabot's bit about being cautious of what you say in your blog's in case it's something you might want to use in one of your novels at a later date. i messaged you on myspace asking you about that very thing and you never wrote me back, meanie! :( too busy getting printz honours to reply to the little people, huh? :P honestly though, i love your novels and brotherhood 2.0 and i agree with modest that you and hank should talk about music more. yay to the magnetic fields, old crow medicine show, tmbg, and billy bragg!
