When I grow up...

...I obviously want to be a librarian, because I love to catalog.

I'm aboutg 80% finished cataloging our home library on librarything. The cataloging project has raised several questions that you can answer:

1. How does our library stack up to yours?

2. What vitally important works of literature am I missing?

3. Does my author cloud say anything about me? (Note: Much of my YA collection is yet to be cataloged.)

4. And most importantly, when an author tags his own book as "Christian fiction," is he kidding? Or is he serious?

You like C.D. Payne? I read Youth in Revolt when I was 13, and to this day, 5 years later, it is still one of my favorite books.

Yeah, I love that book. (I read it as a senior in high school.) I also like the two sequels C. D. Payne has published.

My main publishing dream is to see them published as an awesome YA book series (it would be a bestseller, I'm convinced), but Payne doesn't seem interested in that, which is okay.

Your author cloud tells me that we both love MICHAEL CHABON and PHILIP ROTH, and since I got MARCUS ZUSAK's book 100% because of your review, I should probably check out RICHARD POWERS soon, too. That's what it tells me. :-)
