  1. So, for the SF event it's free & not ticketed? We don't have to call or anything? Just want to make sure..

  2. Alas - I'm on the east coast, and you're touring the west. M, my 15-year old, swiped Will Grayson, Will Grayson as soon as I bought it home. She is in love with your Will, and with Tiny.

  3. now that will grayson, will grayson is out, are you working on any other projects?

  4. John, thanks for introducing me to Neutral Milk Hotel. They're great.

  5. Dang... I'll be driving through Indiana on the 23rd. So close, yet so far.

  8. there is some confusion about the La Mesa Public Library event that i just wanted to alert you to in case you get tweets/comments about it.

the bookstore that is putting on the event says it's happening on fri 4/23:
    http://www.mystgalaxy.com/community-events

but the library itself says the event is on sat 4/24:
    http://lmteens.wordpress.com/

i'm sure it's just a miscommunication between the two of them, and i'm happy to call the bookstore tomorrow to doublecheck and/or let them know the library has the wrong date, but i just wanted to let you know.

  10. The event is on the 23rd, according to my publicist. The library's web site is mistaken. -John

  11. Ok, I am veeeery confused. Is the San Diego/La Mesa event happening at the library or at the bookstore? Suuuuuper confuzzled here...

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'll be seeing you at the LA Times Book Festival on Sunday, then! :D

    Don't worry, I won't FTBA.

  13. Oh, sweet--you'll be in my neck of the woods for the LA Book Festival. Nice. Hope I can make it out.

  14. Is there any chance you're gonna hit up the east coast. And more specifically Fl?

    ReplyDelete
  15. katiegrrl1016, the San Diego/La Mesa event is at the library. The bookstore is sponsoring the event, selling books on site, etc. The library and the bookstore each had a different date posted on their website, which was causing confusion.

  16. Is there anything in Canada?

  17. John, if I go to VidCon will you sign ALL your books for me? Or is there a limit?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Aww...Portland never gets anything cool. Meh.

  19. John! No Phoenix? This is just wrong!

  23. NOOOOOOO! The San Francisco date is on a school night. D: But I'm in love with Will Grayson, Will Grayson. The book, not each person individually. I love them all equally!

  24. John, is that program at Northeastern real? if so what is it? I have a friend who's is very interested in med school. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Also, I loved the book and there is a line after me of my friends who want to read it! :D

  25. Is so skipping school to go to the book signing. . . Shh don't tell anyone. It's not like they will be anything important, just taking a star test and seniors don't have to do them. I shall see you on Monday John

    ReplyDelete
  26. Really!!! A MONDAY!!! I Have FINALS that week. RAWR!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'll be there tomorrow. Will books be sold at the event itself, or should I buy a copy and bring it with me? And is there a limit to the number of books you'll sign?

  28. John -

Thanks for coming to Borders and signing my book! Yes, I know you live just down the street, but, you know, you still had to get up and put on pants and stuff. So...Thanks!

  29. I am seriously thinking about bringing cookies to the SF event.

  30. I wish I could go to the even in SF tomorrow. :( But alas, my 7pm american sign language class has thwarted my plans. Next time John, next time.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I've just finished WGWG, and now I'm even sorrier that you are not coming anywhere near me.

But I do have to tell you that utterly adored the book. Especially your half; i found will grayson a little whiney, which is probably the point but anyway...

I also think, John, that with every book you write, you get better and I like your protaganist more. Pudge was okay. I liked Colin (as long as we didn't have to interact). I would certainly be Q's friend. But I LOVE Will. He is by far my favorite.

So...basically, you're awesome. That is all.

You have been TaGGed by AWESOME, this is so juvenile - but you are interesting enough for me to believe your eighth pic from eighth folder would have an interesting story.

The Tag game goes as follows: Go to the 8th folder in which you store your photo’s (I know 8 sucks, it should have been 7) and then select the 8th photo (even if it’s a photo of you that is thoroughly FOUL and you’d rather kill yourself than post it) then with said photo post it to your blog and tell the story behind it. [Disclaimer: (AKA THE FINE PRINT) after following the above instructions, you are ‘supposed’ to tag 8 other bloggers. MUAHAHAHA evil isn’t it?]

Do you know what sounds like a lot of fun? Taking this tour of yours and making a slight detour at the end to east coast Canada! I'll be here to greet you, which to be honest is reason enough. I look forward to seeing you John!

Sigh. I just realized that I was a few months too late on the draw. I suddenly feel quite foolish. Regardless, come to Nova Scotia and I'll buy you a drink while discussing the current situation in Nepal. Here's hoping you're still interested in it!
