Kiva

For the two people who read my blog and don't watch Brotherhood 2.0:

In the past few days, Brotherhood 2.0 viewers have loaned several thousand dollars to people living in poverty through the great web site kiva.org. Join them!

Also, I will post my Printz speech here soon. And I will link to any of the other authors' Printz speeches if I come across them--they were all excellent.

And finally: I'm announcing here what will be announced soon on b2.0: July shall be NAtional Finish A Revision Of Your Book I Mean Seriously Come On Month (NAFAROYBIMSCOM). Anyone joining me?

That sounds like fun activity for July!
Of course, for me, it would be National Finish The First Draft Of Your Book I Mean Seriously Come On Month, but close enough. >.>

  5. I'm sort of with you on this. I'm thinking of mine as National Rewrite Your Book I Mean Seriously Come On Season. I want to be done before the autumnal equinox arrives. (For no reason except that it will be twelve weeks and twelve weeks sounds... doable.)

  6. I will be joining you for the July NFTFDOYBIMSCOM because I have like 12 books I have to write.

also, I will go to kiva.

also, I am glad that you post important b2.0 things on your blog so that I may be aware of the important things.

also, it was so great seeing you in DC.

also, in case you were wondering, I am very happy and having an amazing and wonderful time here in Amherst. Just FYI.

I'm in for NAFAROYBISMSCOM. Although my personal subtitle on that is: While also working on a draft of book 4, promoting current release, taking chem and calc summer session and spending three days a week at the hospital researching and volunteering.

Yes, that sums up my lazy summer very nicely.

  13. I'm with you.
National Finish A Revision Of Your Book I Mean Seriously Come On Month will maybe work.
Or maybe not. I'm starting to think this thing is going to go from 40k to 10k by the time I'm finished with it.
    Ugh.

  14. Oh boy! This is so tempting, but I just finished my 5th round of revisions and I'm letting it sit for the summer. September will be my NAFAROYBISMSCOM.

    Good luck!
